We hear lots about the TLM being inconsistent with what the fathers of the Second Vatican Council called for in their constitution on the sacred liturgy.

While most parishes today will have had communion in the hand, 1970s choruses, extraordinary ministers, versus populum and many more inventions which were never called for by the council, TLM congregations experienced something much more in line with Sacrosanctum Concilium- Gregorian chant, Latin, participation of the faithful in singing the ordinary of the Mass and more!

While some in the church accuse those who attend the TLM of being disloyal to Vatican 2, by the books there is far more disobedience that is routinely displayed in the celebration of the new Mass.
