The Christmas Season (25th Dec-2nd Feb) got off to a fantastic start with Midnight Mass. The Church was packed with parishioners and visitors who gathered to sing carols from 11.30pm before participating in the Missa Cantata (Sung Traditional Latin Mass). The music from the schola included all of the chants of the Mass and a new motet written by our Organist, Fraser Pearce- a setting of ‘O Magnum Mysterium.’ After Mass we gathered for drinks and nibbles in the hall during which, Fr Morris was presented with a new cassock from the parishioners. Merry Christmas to you from Fr Morris and all at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.
